WINTER HOLIDAAAYS!!! :D

It's the right time, baby!

Last week was seriously great. I took part in 2 English competitions and they were both pretty successful! :) but one of them wouldn't be so successful if I weren't there with my team :) Anyway... On Friday I celebrated my friend's 18th birthday and even though I felt pretty bad after midnight (yeah, I know what you all think ahahah :P), it was really great to be there with them all! :D

Sunday I finally could snowboard again in really good conditions. Oh how much I love winter and everything connected with it, especially my little beloved board <3333

My Sunday was hell awful, terrible headache made me stay in bed sleeping for pretty much whole day :s Never again! but at least I had my hair done! Honestly, it was the first time in my life I changed colour of my hair and I'm really happy about the result! :) on the picture they are straightened, so probably their look will be faaaar different from what I have now :P

The power of dreams

I'm writing this post quite early, because lately I have very vivid dreams and I love checking their meaning. Since I have begun taking dreams very seriously, I was asking myself if that actually worked. I mean... dreams, our imaginations or maybe in dreams we learn something more about ourselves, about something that is hidden deep inside our soul and mind. I'm very lucky, because I hardly wake up and forget my dream or I have a feeling that I didn't even dream last night. No, hardly ever. My dreams are always vivid, but not as much as they are lately. When I checked meaning of my dreams, it turned out that everything will be okay, with my family/love life and my school life. I really hope so! :) I mean... dreaming about my parents locked in jail with me and bro or seeing R as my ex boyfriend doesn't look that nice, he? :P Anyway, I really recommend you checking meanings of your dreams, just for fun. Maybe then you'll see what your soul and mind wants and need the most. Oh and... usually bad things in dreams mean good things, so nightmares aren't that bad as we think :)

I usually write 'good night', but in this case I can write 'Good morning' and have a great day! :)

Piece of heavenly art

 Today I had my third decoupage workshops and we were decorating hangers. This time I did it with my mom and brother, last week I decorated a wine glass with R. So, without further ado, I would like to show you some things which were created by few pairs of creative hands :)

 Ikea wine glass - decorated with white paper and flower print tissue. The bottom part is 'goldened' :) 

Wooden hangers - decorated with white and green paint, with flowery and fruit patterns cut out from the paper. The green layer is visible on the edges. 

Organic bag (not really ironed :P :$) - teddy bear cut from tissue with such pattern, self made letters. 

So far my collection is small, but I love all the works and I'm sure that I will make such small pieces of art many times in my life. I enjoy it the most when I'm doing such things with my family and friends :) Anyway, my book for today and next few days is this little book, which one of my friends lent to me (thank you K :*) I have to prepare myself for this year's Britain knowledge contest, so I guess it's going to be a small 'back to basics' week :) 

I really had a nice day, I red more of Matilda and I felt so happy to understand so many things. It just feel really great to witness my, still small, progress with Dutch :)

Ik hou van Matilda

My past is connected with swimming and finswimming, but some years ago I stopped doing it. Since then my presence in pool water is hardly possible. Last year I was involved in swimming, in school team, but only because I sucked at everything else :P so today it was my first time after a year to swim in pool again... but circumstances were pretty odd. My school took part in swimming relays and I was taking part in it. How lovely, isn't it? But the best thing about it all is that I met all my friends that I used to train with :) 

These two lovely books are closer to me than any other book :P Matilda (I got it from my dear R for b-day) is written in ... Dutch! :P I also received English version, but even though I love the Dutch one :D That little book next to it in also my b-day present from my great friends. It's Dutch course book :D This one is only the basic level, but I also got the 'one step further' coursebook, so my friends took care of my learning very seriously :) With this small course book reading Matilda goes really great :) I mean, I do have some problems with understanding some of the words, but I think that it's on of the best ways to learn foreign languages :) So I spend my every possible free second on reading Matilda :D

Dears, I hope you had a lovely and productive day! Actually! about being productive :P I had a task given from my Polish teacher to write a parody to 'Ode to Youth', so I decided to write ... 'Ode to Laziness' :P All my mommy said was  that my poem described me perfectly! I guess she was right, I really enjoyed writing about something that I know perfectly :D

What a lovely day...

 So, New Year already have started, so I also thought about my life in general. Lately some things are going pretty bad :s so one day I woke up and I decided to take care of my own life and do something about it. I told myself 'Hey, you are such a gal, do something about it, show everyone that it's worth to spend time with you'. So my plan for next 12 month is to make this year better than last years :) And so far I'm doing pretty well!

My simple list of  everyday must-do's :) It takes so few to change so much!

2012 - be good to me!

I wasn't writing much lately due to presence of R :D We spent a lovely week, as always :) Because all our pics are on his camera, I can't upload much :< except of pics from New Year's Eve. Party was awesome, I had a splendid time with my friends and R, but eventually me and R ended up in cab at 5am, not really in great moods... all in all, everything turned out good :) I wish you all a wonderful and happy new year!
